Pathfinders Integrative Coaching –
Supporting individuals, groups, and organizations to initiate and navigate transition achieving greater effectiveness and well-being.
Jamie graduated from The School for International Training with a Bachelor’s in Community Development and Cross Cultural Communications, completing her overseas internship in Mombasa, Kenya, while working with a micro enterprise designed to provide support to local women’s cooperatives.
She worked in Washington, DC at the Pan American Development Foundation as the Special Projects Assistant, then moved to Chapel Hill, NC to attend the MBA Program at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, focusing her studies in Organizational Management and Organizational Behavior.
After a brief sojourn into teaching, she returned to the corporate venue to work for twelve years as a Corporate Retail Manager and Trainer, leaving the industry in 2005 to pursue an opportunity partnering in the development of a residential Retreat Community in western North Carolina.
After relinquishing her partnership in The Retreat at Wolf Mountain in 2008, Jamie recognized a need and began assisting small business owners in her area – primarily ‘owner/operators’ – developing their concepts and enterprises, acting as a coach as well as assisting clients in implementing organizational systems needed to grow their respective business.
In 2008 “Make It Happen” began evolving into “Pathfinders Integrative Coaching”. Throughout the transition, Jamie practiced touching into her own core values, inviting the transition to deepen her awareness, and guide her into enhanced well-being and effectiveness.
She augmented her previous education and management experience with additional training, completing certifications in reflexology, and business coaching; becoming a certified CORE Mentor/Coach, and a RY200 yoga teacher and yoga practitioner. Jamie applies “embodied leadership” practices in both leadership and organizational coaching.
This integrative approach introduces, encourages, and supports clients to utilize their innate “intelligence” and core values to initiate, move into, and through change, transitioning into greater well-being and effectiveness on all levels.
